While Beowulf adheres to a promise to maintain our client's confidentiality, we understand that in order to remain competitive it is necessary to interface with the media on a variety of topics. We encourage this in fact; our primary mission is to educate and inform.

With this being said, it is important that inquiries by the media in relation to our company be handled in accordance with the following policy:

• All inquiries must be referred to the company's Managing Director
  
• As the company's most senior official, the Managing Director may respond directly or designate another party to serve as the spokesperson
  
• The Managing Director or Designated Spokesperson will also direct the process by which a response is determined or a position is taken
  

Beowulf Defense and Security encourages the use of media and associated services because they can make communications more efficient and effective as well as being valuable sources of information on corporate operations, technology, and services. At no point, however, will Beowulf betray the trust and loyalty of our clients and at all times we will maintain information security for our clients, employees, operations, and proprietary assets and techniques. Certain inquiries may require the signing of a non-disclosure agreement in an effort to maintain the integrity of this policy. It is within the rights of Beowulf’s management to—at any time—deny a request to any inquiry for any reason.


This policy covers all forms of responses to the media, including off the record and anonymous statements.
