In 2005, founder Ryan Pearce began his career as a freelance consultant focusing on US defense policy and founded Beowulf in July of 2010 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Since then, Beowulf has continually grown its employee base as it increases the scale and scope of its operations.
Beowulf will always strive to position itself as the market leader in all of its operational sectors by consistently providing the finest operational, logistical, and ideological solutions—while maintaining and expanding a reputation for confidentiality and fidelity. In January of 2012, Beowulf officially entered the Maritime Security market and will soon follow with entrances into the Close/Executive Protection, Static/Dynamic Security, and the Kidnap and Rescue sectors.
This shift in focus from consultancy to security reflects a new and revolutionary vision for how Private Security Companies should operate, focusing on the clients rather than the bottom line. This is evident in the company’s core commitments:
With a management team that combines the visionary thinking of youth with wisdom that can only come from experience—Beowulf can assess, engage, adapt, and overcome obstacles with a tenacity the world has never seen before.
